At the the High-Level Business Forum "Vietnam - Indonesia: Partnership for Progress and Prosperity" on March 10, 2025, Mrs. Dang Huynh Uc My, Chairlady of Betrimex, officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Sungai Budi Group (Indonesia), witnessed by Vietnamese Party General Secretary - H.E. To Lam and Ministers of both nations. This event marks a significant milestone in efforts to optimize the agricultural value chain, particularly the coconut industry, through the implementation of advanced technological solutions and strengthening Betrimex's core production capabilities.
Both Vietnam and Indonesia possess immense potential in the coconut industry, benefiting from favorable natural conditions and long-standing expertise. However, effective exploitation requires collaboration and the adoption of modern technology. The agreement between Betrimex and Sungai Budi focuses on building a production and trade platform with an initial capacity of 120 million liters/kg, expanding to 300 million liters/kg, while also developing 20,000 hectares of organic coconut material areas. This ensures a sustainable and high-quality input supply, meeting the growing demands of domestic and international markets.
