At the Vietnam-Indonesia High-Level Business Forum, Betrimex and Sungai Budi signed a landmark agreement to expand coconut production to 300M liters/kg and develop 20,000ha organic plantation. This strategic move highlights Betrimex's commitment to global growth and sustainable agriculture.
Both Vietnam and Indonesia possess immense potential in the coconut industry, benefiting from favorable natural conditions and long-standing expertise. However, effective exploitation requires collaboration and the adoption of modern technology. The agreement between Betrimex and Sungai Budi focuses on building a production and trade platform with an initial capacity of 120 million liters/kg, expanding to 300 million liters/kg, while also developing 20,000 hectares of organic coconut material areas. This ensures a sustainable and high-quality input supply, meeting the growing demands of domestic and international markets.

Established in 1947, Sungai Budi is a major Indonesian corporation with extensive experience in agriculture and food processing. This partnership not only fosters the development of both companies but also facilitates technology transfer, management experience exchange, enhances the value of agricultural products, and promotes economic relations between Vietnam and Indonesia.
This marks a strategic milestone in Betrimex's international market development roadmap towards 2030, aiming to fully commercialize the coconut value chain and aspiring to become a leading innovation hub in the global coconut industry.
Mrs. Dang Huynh Uc My affirmed, 'Our global cooperation strategy aims not only to enhance product quality and expand markets but also to affirm our commitment to sustainable development. We believe that by combining high-tech applications with long-standing industry experience, Betrimex will continue to contribute positively to the development of modern agriculture in Vietnam and the region."
